I'd be happy to email you my CV, or you can find me on Linked In https://au.linkedin.com/in/cpaul

Besides the obvious React, I also have experience in React Native and Electron, and the measures required with data streaming to get performance out of components.

SCHOLARSITE

The most recent startup case study I have to offer was an intense engagement with Nicholas Rudder and Adrian Sarstedt of https://Scholarsite.io who came to me having developed a bare minimum Ruby on Rails app as an MVP; they had a bunch of users; they had completed their user testing and the feedback was that it was good but looked too generic.

They moved on this feedback by engaging Sydney UX wizard Samantha Borg, but they were struggling to find someone who could commit to updating their MVP with multiple new React frontends in time for an investment pitch due in two weeks' time.

Short story is I committed and was able to deliver on their goals, delivering their desired UX upgrade in React within two 7-day sprints, and with the momentum that we channeled their way, Nick and Adrian landed investments totalling more than $500,000 enabling them to migrate to the US and incorporate their new Scholarsite company in San Fransisco and open an office ready for their next phase of growth.

OTHER SAMPLES

I have worked on mapping products before; the most recent project was for a Weatherzone product used by mine sites to forecast explosion plumes, and to generate the necessary environmental and OH&S reporting reports once an explosion is committed.

Within 3 months of starting the engagement with the team at Weatherzone, we brought the existing Java developers on the project up to speed with React best practices and were able to advance their MVP to the sales team. And within a further 3 months the team was able to deliver on the many complicated goals that had been blocking shipping a ready product to the sales team, who were able to close their first sales, resolving a lot of built-up stress within the organisation.
